Equity participation following strategic review and implementation

AIDA LLP was invited by the Proprietor of a FMCG business experiencing growing pains to conduct a strategic review. AIDA identified that the business had a strong, under-exploited brand but suffered from being under-capitalised and that there was a need to increase the skill base within the Company.  

Working in concert with the Proprietor, AIDA has injected fresh finance including equity and provided a range of expert management skills to extend the brand, develop new sales channels and improve financial management resulting in improved bottom line profitability and cash flow.

Financial turnaround through interim management following loss of direction

Acting as Interim MD at the invitation of the principal Shareholder, one of the principals of AIDA LLP was responsible for the turnaround of this SME.

At the time of appointment, the business was structurally loss making, had suffered a complete accounting breakdown and there was poor team morale with open conflict within the management team. Through restoring financial discipline, defining a new commercial strategy including the elimination of loss making activities and re-building the management team the turnaround was achieved
